Triaz Native NKS
Triaz was a great Kontakt instrument, but they've recreated as a bespoke plugin, and that's likely to see updates instead of the Kontakt instrument.
Updated graphics, NKS2 colour, future-proofing etc.
Half price for BF sales, and well worth it.

This is a very tempting plugin that I'm checking lately and I'm very close to get.

It is what I'd want Battery 5 to be, if that's a good indicator.
You may also want to change the mapping if you do go for it. You can only have 64 automations, which you manually assign. I assigned my own preferrence - but others may prefer something else.1 -
There's also a Player version to try out for free - well worth a download.

Thank you for this! You have to check out the "Drift" Expansion for Triaz, also really great. If you can do NKS for them, would be really nice. :) Also the Reverbs and the Tapewave is really good from them.

Its weird, right? Many customers have been promoting Triaz/WA here as an angry response to the way maschine and kontakt are going, including myself in at least 2 threads, and switching to Triaz was a threat. I imported all my maschine expansions into it, put my MK3 into MIDI-mode, and never looked back.
Suddenly known brand managers are promoting it, putting up full page product info about it, etc? This troubles me. Fortunately Im going more and more into Elektron - lets see NI buy Elektron, lol.

Compared to the senior citizen status of Battery, Triaz is like the #1 draft pick.
Much more than a threat. More like “Why are you worried about that when you could have this.”
The guys over at WA have always done it right. Word has it they are also porting MY fav instrument of theirs - Revolution - to a new standalone plugin too.

And BassSynth - but they're a small team from Derbyshire (a few miles from the house I grew up in), so I wouldn't expect development to be fast. I'd rather it was right than fast anyway.

Since it was mentioned…. here's the NKS presets with previews for Drift. Uses the base Triaz template from @Vagus (loads as a sub-bank so does not include the NI_Resources assets).
Requires the Drift expansion product (samples, etc):
