Hi everyone,
My name is Stefan, and I’m hoping for some advice on a tricky situation with my Maschine setup.
Here’s the background: I’ve been using an older MacBook Pro (2015) running macOS 12 Monterey with Maschine 2, version 2.14.6. Recently, I upgraded to a new MacBook Pro (2023) with the M4 Pro chip, running macOS 15.1. I’d like to update to Maschine 3 to fully utilize it on my new MacBook, as Maschine 3 is compatible with macOS 15.1.
However, I’ve hit a few obstacles:
- My old MacBook can’t be upgraded past macOS 12, so I’m unable to update the Maschine software directly on it to make the transition smoother.
- When I open Native Access on my old MacBook, I don’t see the Maschine library listed under the installed section, which makes things even more confusing.
Is there any workaround that would let me update to Maschine 3 on my new MacBook without having to rely on the older Mac? Any advice on accessing or transferring the Maschine library and software would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
Best,
Stefan
