Traktor 4 Load indicator, CPU or audio buffer?
I noticed that the load indicator displayed in TP3 is now labeled CPU in TP4.
What is the TP4 indicator showing?
The manual hasn't been updated to reflect this change.

Exactly the display in Traktor is the audio buffer.
You can also easily compare by looking at the actual CPU usage in the task manager at the same time.

I've always been under the assumption it's a measure of the audio buffer as opposed to the overall cpu load, though the two are somewhat related, ie, a faster cpu will effect the performance of any given buffer size, as would faster or lower latency RAM.
Increasing buffer size does appear to lower the load level though, so I'm pretty shure it's measuring the audio buffer usage, someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Yeah TP3 shows audio buffer (I should have stated that in my post) and I'm assuming it's showing the same in TP4 and has been mislabelled. I think showing the audio buffer info is more important than CPU usage.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's showing load still but it would be nice for someone from NI to confirm and also maybe explain why it's now labelled CPU.

Ah ok, I didn't notice that. So, they need to re-label the meter in the next update then 🙂
