Roland RPU3 comaptible with S88 MK3?

Scrolling through many discussions, I have not found a clear answer, whether the 3 pedal unit of Roland RPU3 is compatible with S88 MK3. there are 3 continuous controlling pedals in the RPU3 and I wonder that one of them can be assigned as a sustain with half pedaling.

Ok, I figured it out! It's all about the calibration. The way this pedal is configured, the calibration guide seems confusing, which is why it took me a while to figure it out. But here goes:

Mode: Continuous. Invert: Off. Swap: Tip. Then, hit Calibrate. When asked to move the pedal way down, just leave the pedal untouched and click ok. When asked to move the pedal all the way up, press it to the bottom and click ok twice.

This pedal has not been tested so we wouldn't recommend buying one along with the MK3 keyboard. I checked the manual of the RPU3 and there was not much information. I'm not saying it won't work but we don't officially support it.

I have that pedal in another room. I have the S61 MK3, not the S88 MK3. But if you think it would be a valid test, I'd be willing to go get it. I probably need to vacuum under it anyway, lol!

I wish NI would update the compatible pedals web page. It's been almost a year and it still shows only MK1 and MK2 compatible pedals.

The Roland RPU-3 features three continuous pedals and is the best on the market, which would make it a perfect fit for the MK3 keyboards. Frustratingly, I can only get it to work in switched mode, so no half-pedaling. Continuous mode registers nothing whatsoever on any pedals/inputs. It’s most likely something that could be easily remedied in a firmware update, but only if NI cares, which they haven’t for the several years I’ve been asking about this pedal. I use it with a MIDI Expression unit, so problem solved for me, but it would ideally work natively (no pun intended). If you're content with limiting it’s functionality to operate as three switched pedals, it does work.

I have the S88 MK3 and the Roland RPU-3 pedals.
I didn't know there could possibly be compatibilty issues since there are so many settings to choose from, so I just bought them.
I have the sustain pedal assigned as Continuous and works perfect. I had to change the "Swap" setting to "Tip" instead of "ring" in the pedal settings. Otherwise the pedal responded inverted. Other settings are same as before, Midi Ch1.Nr64 Range 0-127.

I can also get the RPU-3 to work only in switched mode with my S88-MK3. If I set it to continuous in the MIDI template, it outputs nothing at all, and swapping from tip to ring makes no difference. I'd love to know how @Krulke got it to work in Continuous mode.

Update — I fiddled with the settings some more in the S88 MK3 default MIDI template and lo and behold I got the RPU-3 sustain pedal to work in continuous mode. I'm not sure what I did differently this time — maybe the last time I tried to get this working I forgot to save after the calibration step. I also had to change the "Swap" setting to "Tip" to get the correct response.

I just bought the same setup. S88 MK3 and RPU-3. No matter how hard I try I don't manage to get it to work in continuous mode. There are not that many settings available, so I figure there's just so much you can do wrong. Would love some help here. :)
