Hi
I currently use Serato Sample as a VST within Maschine to sample essentially - my workflow is as follows:
- get sample
- chop sample at original tempo of sample
- time stretch the sample and therefore increase/decrease the tempo of the original sample AFTER chopping the sample
- play the final chops out with a drum pattern and work from there
My question is - what is the best way for me to accomplish this within the Maschine software without any external VSTs i.e. using Sampler on its own ideally but am open to using Audio as well? Is it possible to achieve this same workflow i.e. chopping then manipulating all the chops together in one AFTER chopping them?
The reason I ask is that Serato Sampler has a limitation of 32 samples which can sometimes be a limiting factor however the issue I ran into when chopping with the Sampler is that while I could chop more than 32 samples - I would have to manipulate each chop individually - unless I have overlooked something?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
