50% off Komplete 15 - key bundle only? or can you buy keyboard separately?

With the current offer 50% off Komplete 15 with S Series - if you purchase an S Series keyboard from a local dealer - will you still get the 50% off Komplete (Standard or Ultimate)? It's not clear to me if you need to purchase the "bundle" from NI, or if after you register your keyboard (purchased from local dealer) if you still get 50% off the software…

Thanks again, NI has confirmed that in this case you must purchase the bundle to get 50% off of Komplete. AND, that I should check with my local dealer to see if they have the bundle.

Strangely my local dealer knew nothing about the bundle, and originally told me I can buy the keyboard alone, then get the 50% off of the software through NI. I've informed the dealer that this is NOT correct, and they are now looking into getting the bundle for me. Hopefully I hear back from the dealer soon before the promotion ends, as there is no indication of how long the promotion will last (I've also just asked NI support about when the promotion will end…).

So frustrating that I have 4 or 5 NI dealers near me in Montreal, Canada, but I may end up having to purchase from Germany (or NI direct). It just makes no sense. The local dealer has many of the keyboards in stock, I could have it at home in one hour, then just purchase/download the software online, but no… ahhh well…

    If I go here:

    Keyboards : Kontrol S49 / S61 / S88 : Pricing | Komplete

These Komplete STD/ULT deals look to be only direct via NI.

Does not look like you get this bundle deal via local dealer. All it says about dealers is this:

Best to check with NI Sales before pulling the trigger on anything.

Judging from prices at Thomann.de then it appear to me as Thomann is offering a similar deal as N.I. if getting a keyboard with a bundle. E.g. for the S61 MK3 then there is a 536 EUR price difference on the keyboard with and without the Ultimate bundle , also then the Thomann.de deal on looks as if some 125 EUR cheaper on that deal though I do not know if it is exactly the same deal or if there is a difference with respect to what you get if buying at **N.I. versus buying at Thomann.de. N.I. says Kontrol S61 MK3 and Komplete 15 Ultimate €1,398.50 , Thomann.de says Kontrol S61 MK3 and Komplete 15 Ultimate €1,273.50

Text is a bit weird though as it says : "Native Instruments Komplete 15 Ult. UPG S-Series , Plugin-Bundle (Download) , Upgrade from Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK3 keyboards to Komplete 15 Ultimate"

Anyway , as VocalPoint so wisely points out then making sure what you get by contacting seller prior to purchase might be a very good idea and same goes for asking N.I. where appropriate . So , you might want to ask your local supplier and maybe even N.I. also (?)

Thanks for the replies. I had a local dealer say "yes you can get the 50% off Komplete Ultimate after registering the S series keyboard", so I could take their word for it I suppose and hold them to it, but would rather confirm. I've opened a ticket with NI Support, so I'm hoping to get a quick reply and not miss out on the pricing. I did look at Thomann also, and they clearly have the 50% off bundle deal similar to NI direct. (As mentioned, it's sub-listed as 2 products on check-out, but it's one price for the bundle. Very confusing). Hoping to buy local if I can get the same deal rather than shipping, customs, wait time, etc.

Very wise , especially since that N.I. , as pointed out by Vocal Point earlier , does not advertise that offer is also valid from participating partners , and since you do not get directly at purchase as you apparently do at Thomann. So yes , you really ought to get N.I. to confirm. Also then these offers usually are only good for so long meaning that usually you have to register and get by a certain date for the offer to be valid.

Otherwise then also great to support your local shops when it is feasible. 🙂
