Every time I restart my iMac (2017 macOS13.7) I have to grant permission for the NTKDaemon to install a helper tool. I've followed all NI instructions to grant access to all NI apps but it continues. What am I missing?
Hello Ursusharmonious, have you tried the quotes that PoorFellow mentioned above?
If the issue persists after these steps, taking a closer look to your system with the support tool might be helpful for that. Therefore, if this is the case, please create a support ticket or open a chat support using this link below:
https://bit.ly/NI_support_NA
So our team can help you to solve that as soon as possible.
I hope this helps☺️
go to your application folder, go to native access, right click, show package content, content, resource, daemon, Mac, install.
should work now.
I did this but every time I restart it still pops up.
1) Quote Jeremy_NI: please check these articles:
Native Access Error: "Please grant permission to NTK Daemon to install dependencies"
Native Access Freezes on “Installing Dependencies“ at Startup
2) Quote Jeremy_NI :
can you check the following?
3) Quote Jeremy_NI :
Also make sure that the NTKDaemon is in the login items in your system preferences, under Users & Groups: (Ventura has "Login Items" under "General".)
If it's not there, unlock and add it, you can find it here:
Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > NTK > NTKDaemon
Else I will call for @Mert_NI to please assist Ursusharmonious with this Native Access problem.
