Pencil icon upper left corner

On al the plugins there's a pencil icon on the upper left corner of the plugin window next to the preset name. It doesn't seem to do anything. Does anybody know what it's for?

    Only NI plugins or ensembles have that.

    On NI plugins it switches between Mini view and Full view, unless the plugin has no Mini view, if it has no Mini view it generally just opens and closes the plugins built in topbar containing presets and A/B.

    On ensembles it open and closes the Reaktor view.
