Be warned, I knew I shouldn't have updated. NI what's up lately with KK updates? Where can I find the previous version please?

Same, KK3 crashes every time, both stand alone and plugin. M2 Mac Mini - Studio One 6.6. It crashes when initializing GUI after scanning all the plugins. Followed all the troubleshooting, deleted the folders and files as instructed, and even did a fresh install. Nothing but crashes. SMH so frustrating, every time there is an update I think of it fixing some issues.

Logic, latest version.

Ok looks like there's an update for Hardware Connection Service that has popped up later in the day. I guess I'll try that update to see if it might solve it?
Ok AND a firmware update! Along with a Kontakt 8 update! I guess let's see what happens! : )

Nope, we're still broken. Oddly controls are missing from the bottom of the screen too (the 8 knobs that are usually on the screen mirroring our 8 knobs on Kontrol hardware). They're there when I pull up the same library in Kontakt 8. Then a few minutes later KK 3.3.3 crashes.

I hope we hear a fix is coming from NI! And it doesn’t just crash KK, it crashes Logic.

Hm, this is very unfortunate… Already updated the communication service for my mk3 on my sonoma system, but no new firmware was listed in the ni app, neither a Kontrol software update… So now the controller is unusable with the new update or mixed versions which do not match?
Where to download the recent firmware?
And why are the components of this update do not appear at the same time? This is very irritating and seems to lead to extra problems for users. The whole software update concept at NI seems to be somewhat flawed to me… Would be much better, if NI would discontinue Native Access, and then the Kontrol software itself could check for updates (if wished by the user), and then provide all the installers at once required, based on the found hardware.
Also there seem to be a lot of system agents running, seems to be a waste of memory and resources.
The whole concept seems to need still quite some optimization. The user should not be require knowledge like a NI programmer to be able to properly install the required software.0 -
It would be helpful, too, if all the versions of the firmware, the communication service and the Kontrol software would be available as direct download from the support pages, in a list containing release date, version, changelog and matching versions. Also the versioning of the firmware updater seems to be confusing, not matching the actual installing firmware version…? This is such a chaotic way of providing drivers.
Why even supply any kind of drivers via Native Access? And then only parts of it? Would be much better, if the firmware, the communication service and Kontrol VST3 would be freely available to public under support/downloads of the NI webpage. This is a the usual standard.1 -
Man I was just about to update to Komplete Kontrol 333 but something said go check the discussion boards…smh

I initially had crashes and some weird artifacts in komplete kontrol GUI but they were solved by a reboot and updating the firmware of my MK3 to version 1.8.4. Loading speeds in KK have also improved remarkably with this update (finally) :)

The components all appear and go live at the same time - but we have no control over download servers populating throughout the world. The firmware is available the same place it always is (note that the keyboard also informs you when available, but it is possible things arrived out of sync):
Everything else is a desktop application, and will both notify and install from Native Access 2.

The MK3 Keyboard should give you the address for the new firmware once you've updated the Hardware System update in Native Access!

Glad that worked for you but no dice for me! So still having problems! : /
