tracktor 4 upgrade stems is not working ?

Hi i had upgraded my traktor to 4 and the stems which,as per the video is suppost to,

show the stems option on the drop down is not showing

Hey Mike,

do you have your tracks in playlists or at least in the Track Collection? Stem generation doesn't work from Explorer node in Traktor, they have to be in a playlist or in the Track Collection.

hey. yes the tracks are in the play list . have attached a picture . so. its not showing me that. option

That's a folder not a Playlist.

I have same issue as Mike above. There is no option stems when I right click on the song

Are you right clicking on a track in a Traktor playlist or are you accessing the file from a folder?

Thanks for the answer! I put them into a playlist ok now the "generate stems" option is available. Do you have any issue like a noise while is making the stem separation? meaning still playing the other song and I'm waiting for the stem separation and at the same time I'm searching for another song when you change folders makes you any noise? Thanks again for the answer

The only issue i have is that generating stems takes up a lot of processing power. Unless you have a very powerful machine, this will cause issues with processing the audio playing at the same time.

Traktor does not have real-time stem generation. Do the generating before hand.
