Are Native Instrument keyboards suitable for countries with high humidity?

Hi, I would like to know if the Komplete Kontrol s88 MK3 is resistant to high humidity and sea wind?

I live in the Caribbean where there is a lot of humidity. Should I do a treatment against humidity?

I don't think any keyboard is going to be that resistant to high humidity as they all pretty much expect to live in fairly controlled environments. I live in Florida with all the same humidity problems but my S88MK3 lives in my house where the humidity is controlled with air conditioning.

What DunedinDragon wrote , electronics generally are not made/built to withstand high humidity or getting wet. Best thing is to place the keyboard and other sensitive electronics in a room with controlled humidity.

Yes, why not, but I don't know if a dehumidifier could reduce the bad effects of the sea wind on the MK3. But I don't rule out using a dehumidifier in the future. Thanks you 👍

Up to 85% relative humidity is tested, derived from ASTM Standard D 4332.

We'd expect all features otherwise vulnerable to humidity (e.g. capacitive touch) to work without exception under such conditions.

Note that it should still work, but we do not test beyond the standard (e.g. 100% humidity, for instance).
