installation failed: Review location preferences

I cant download Komplete Start from Native access. Error message says "installation failed: Review location preferences" It seems impossible to get support from NI. Can anyone address this issue.

    Maybe support toned down a bit, but their FAQ didn't…. read it? ;)

    So, obvious question: did you review your location preference? Not making fun here, you never shared. Just stating "it doesn't work" doesn't give anyone enough info to work with, thus turning this into a guessing game. Most don't want to bother with that.

    Second.. an old issue: can you open .iso files with Explorer (talking about Windows here, because.. that's what I use and once again: you don't share any useful info). Because if you can't then that's a possible cause for issues.

    I’m authorized to use complete start. Native access has an entry for it in my library. When I click on it it says installation failed check location preferences. I’ve had other communications with NI support and they have not been able to diagnose the problem. Any ideas would be helpful thank you.

    I only see a recent request from you about this subject. My colleague replied to you on August 13th and you didn't get back. After a while without any answer from your part the requests are closed. Please get back to my colleague.

    No one is playing games here. We are just doing our job. If you don't reply to our support agents when they send you suggestions and it's not working, how are they supposed to know?
