scarbee jay bass crash (KKI-1460)
When I use the scarbee jay bass, the cubase stops frequently. This is solved only by rebooting the computer. It happens too often and it's uncomfortable. Do you know the solution? I use cubase 11

Have you tried to open it in Kontakt in standalone? Do you have the same issue? How does it happen exactly? Can you explain all the steps leading to the crash?

When I'm using Scabby J-base and playing the piano roll or the digital piano that I've connected, the daw stops. The error window doesn't come up, but there's no response when I press any button, and all I can do is reboot. The preset I'm using now is "slap both." It's contact 7, and it's the latest version. The daw I'm using is "cubase."

What OS are you using?
And what version of Kontakt 7
Also know that if this ends up being an issue with Cubase 11 - Steinberg has retired that version as of August 1, 2024

I'm using kontakt 7.10.6 and scarbee jay-bass 1.2.0 on window 11 OS
Excuse me but could you please let me know what is going to be suspended from August 1st? I've never heard of this before.
that means shoud I upgrade to cubase 13?

See here for the Steinberg support blurb:
Steinberg dropping support for some products - Announcements - Steinberg Forums
As far as "upgrading" that is up to you really.
All I am saying is - IF this ends up being a Cubase thing vs a Scarbee thing - you will not be able to take this to Steinberg as support for Cubase 11 ended on August 1.
Find it a tad odd that Scarbee J-Bass would cause any issues - given that this instrument has been out since 2009 - you would have thought that if there were issues with freezing etc - they would have been nailed down long ago.

I have to upgrade it and check it out.0 -
@alibabarian It's not 100% sure that Cubase 11 is the culprit here. Before buying anything please try a couple of things.
You say it's relating to sustain, do you use a sustain pedal?
For troubleshooting purposes, can you try to reproduce the crash in the standalone application?
Can you make a small video or post screenshots?

https://youtu.be/qMOUPklxZJwThank you for your answer. The video above recorded me stopping while working on it. Because of the audio settings, the sound didn't go into the recorded video

@alibabarian I was able to reproduce the issue with Cubase 13 and a Mac computer. FIling a bug as we speak. Thanks for flagging this. Filed as KKI-1460.
