Why is Traktor one of the only DJ apps that still won’t allow for use with a Tidal?
Ok, NI. It’s time to step up and get on board with allowing Tidal as a music source. Serato does it. DJay does it. Rekordbox does it. What’s the hold up?

Buy tracks, support artists not streaming platforms.

+ good point! / - wrong scenario?
+ = / searching on bandcamp for cool artists and buying their songs might be the best case!- = / fulfill a request on a wedding 1 time and never ever use this song again is the worst case!
you can imagine where the money goes. mostly to the platform where I buy the song, then to the record label and the rights holders. these are usually not the artists themselves, who only get a fraction of it.(I simply pick a random scenario why your argument is good, but does not always work).
…
EDIT: by the way, there are many more good reasons why not everything is bad and why the integration of streaming services can also have good points. the creator of the thread is not asking whether it is a good thing, but why Traktor is lagging behind the competition. this is a legitimate question and your answer does not correspond to the context of the question. you are opening up a completely different topic here, which is not helpful in the discussion.

Serato does it. DJay does it. Rekordbox does it.
VirtualDJ does it. Denon DJ hardware does it.
