I moved my kontakt library and one instrument ‘session guitarist picked acoustic’ wont show

Hi guys

I just moved my kontakt library from my external ssd to my internal drive. After pressing relocate in native access, it successfully located every instrument except for session guitarist picked acoustic. It wont even show up anywhere in kontakt 6 despite it showing as installed in native access.

I have tried reinstalling it in native access, but then I found that it reinstalled a new version which isnt compatible with kontakt 6. After installing an old version with a link i found on the internet, i found that it still showed as the new version in native access. Ive also tried loading the plugin through the file icon and it comes out really glitchy and mostly a blank UI.

This instrument is the main reason i have kontakt installed, can anyone please help me load it again? Thanks!!

    What version of Native Access?

    What version of Kontakt?

    What OS?

    And if you are reinstalling Picked Acoustic via a "link you found on the Internet" you should ensure it's the right version first. Which can only come from the links listed in this thread:

    Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries — Community (native-instruments.com)

    You need to download Picked Acoustic v1.0.0 first. Then uninstall completely - and then reinstall using the 1.0.0 installer. Then rescan in Kontakt 6.

    But do note - if you have updated any other Kontakt library via Native Access since Sept 2023 - you will run into the same issues.

    If you are planning to stay with Kontakt 6 - you must be ready to never attempt to update anything "Kontakt based" within Native Access again.

    Every time you go in there - it will prompt you to update this or that - and the cycle of the these specific libraries (all which are listed in that thread above) being too "new" for Kontakt 6 - will start all over again.

    Have you updated Picked Acoustic as well? Some recent updates for some librariees broke compatibility with Kontakt 6. We provided installers to downgrade the libraries here: Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries

    thanks for the responses guys. I did use the link from that thread you mentioned, but native access still recognised it as picked acoustic 1.1 and not 1.0. I managed to get it running with the kontakt 7 player which is ok.

    Did you mean that I have to uninstall kontakt 6 entirely? Im not really sure how to downgrade it and i cant find an uninstall button in native access.

    Uninstall Picked Acoustic v1.1 entirely. Then check Kontakt 6/7 to make sure there are no traces. Then install Picked Acoustic v1.0. Check again.
