My big problem right now is that the folders are not displayed in the explorer. and I had no problem in version 3. When I click on the music folder, the list of folders is not displayed. It will be displayed if I click on the folder with the mouse. Sometimes when I click with the mouse, the program crashed and closes.

This is probably the worst STEM integration solution in the industry. There is no use of STEMs on the fly unless pre-separated and separation takes entirely too long. Once the STEMs are separated, they are stored as separated in a separate file that then becomes a memory management issue.

Is there a plan to rectify this? Or is this the model for Native Instruments in the future?

Memory is cheaper than ever so I don't see a problem. The only problem is device manufacturers who solder the memory in place. Anyone who buys something like that obviously has a problem. 😅

the need to store the stems is the issue. Other platforms use AI and other methods to allow access without having to separate stems. All NI did was put their stem separator in Traktor. Possibly the laziest way to do it.

In some situations, you may want to use a track you haven’t separated, so you have to wait for the separation to occur. This taxes the processor and takes a 1:1 time finish.

I understand you. But I just wanted to say that both Sarato and Traktor use AI, and both separate them before. The difference is that Serato uses the GPU so it's done within seconds, while Traktor uses the CPU and it take 3+ minutes.

No idea why they did it that way. Was probably easier and they might add GPU later on.
