New Machine MK4 controller along with Maschine 3.0 software later this year?

First off, Hardware is always selling software, so there have to be regular updates. Too many hardware lines is increasing maintenance costs for software. If for nothing else, a new set of MASCHINE hardware will inevitably come to unify the KONTROL keyboards (which have the processing intelligence to feature NKS2) with the MASCHINE series. As for when, we can only speculate. My guess is November this year, but it might as well slip until 2025.

If NI releases Maschine MK4 this fall, I'm going to do somersaults that make Simone Biles envious. Not saying it's not going to happen, but I have a feeling that they're at least a year away. I'd be very happy to be proven wrong.

Cautiously add if mk4 and 3.0 soft/hardware is anything like komplete kontrol 3.0/ mk3 release I would definitely wait.. it's been almost a year and still waiting for the mk3 to work like it should.

I've been a Native Instruments user for years. I still use the first generation studio Maschine controller. Yes Native Instruments needs to update the uses of their drum machines of today use and for tomorrow , But No worries a lot of our favorite software features are still current with todays uses. Most importantly I would love a full daw in our software to be able to import any kind of sound bit for the use of stems and be able to stem out a song or sample in our Maschine daw then build sounds around our chosen stems.
I also would like a better piano roll like many others have said then more control over pitch and key no matter what sounds or samples or stems. Lastly more hardware plugin connections and control especially more USB''s uses for different devices like audio interfaces, USB Instruments including a computer to be plugged in if ever needed.Every three years all musical software companies needs to update the uses because us users is always pushing the envelope of ideas and uses. We users are Solo Leveling trying to be limitless in what we all do. Not stay creating things the same way as we have the last 50 years or so.

Hi, any insight to share related to Maschine 3.0 and its compatibility with Maschine MK2, Maschine Jam and Kontrol M32?
Thanks

I suppose now that Traktor Pro 4 has been released, there might be more resources now available to focus on Maschine 3.0 as they can spare a couple of people for interim bug fixes with the former.

Shouldnt matter much, Matthew mentioned in another thread Traktor has it's own separate team.

Ah, fair enough. Wasn't sure if any team members could jump across to others here and there as needed, or if they were completely siloed off from each other, but obviously the latter.

I suspected Maschine software to be integrated into a workstation hardware and software eco system, Kontrol MK3 platform was intended for standalone but was cut way short as NI cold not put it all together. The reason for the large screen was to be the basis for

due to getting screwed on Kontrol MK3, i wonder if NI is going to move on and release a Kontoller with more buttons, also Maschine MK$ needs to be able to talk to Komplete Kontrol software. NI has purposely handicapped Maschine….

why can’t folks be happy with what they have and enjoy the most up to date software out there…and not to mention all the 3rd party companies which takes it all into new levels of creativity.
I’m a user of the S88 my 2 keyboard and Maschine my 3 with Jam, on top…it’s the best hardware I’ve ever used, I’ve had Roland and Alai before and yea they were v good also, but 3 yrs in and I’m so happy to be in a position to have NI product despite some glitches here and there…I will upgrade to the latest Maschine if it happens and maybe the new re vamped keys also. I synchronise via Studio One 6.5 also, but seriously thinking if I can have some nice new Maschine DAW updates…I’ll be more than happy, and actuall dump Studio One and sell the Studio Live 32 S that will become useless, soon anyhow.
