Traktor Kontrol S4 mk3 transfert licence
Hello, I would like to buy a second-hand Traktor Kontrol S4 mk3 but the seller tells me that the licence cannot be transferred to someone else. If this is the case, can I run the controller on my version of Traktor Scratch pro 2.11.3 17, I am on mac Os Mojave version 10.14.6 with a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 and 16G of memory. Thank you!

Hello,
I have made my purchase of the second-hand Traktor Kontrol S4 mk3. The seller gave me a serial number to download the program to run my controller (I used the "add serial" button on native access), but nothing changes on my Native access platform. Is this because my OS does not support the product? What software can I use on my Mac to run the Traktor S4 MK3 controller? I have downloaded traktor pro 3 but it doesn't seem to work on my computer…. I'm using a mac Os Mojave version 10.14.6 with a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 and 16G of memory. Thanks!

First: The seller hasn‘t to transfer the Traktor Pro Licence. Support sites explain that only the hardware. Traktor Kontrol S4 Mk3 in the screenshot needs to be transferred.
Second: Kontrol S4 Mk3 requires Traktor Pro 3, any version of Traktor Pro 2 isn‘t compatible with it.
Third: With macOS 10.14 Mojave the latest supported version of Traktor Pro 3 is 3.7.0 you can download it via the following link:You should be able to activate it with native access. To make this work you should have listed any licence for Traktor Pro 3 in your NI account on the website in „My products and serials“.

You need at least mac OS 11 for Traktor Pro 3.11
And mac os 12 for Traktor pro 4.0
But Traktor Pro 3.7 should still work:

I installed traktor pro 3 (and made the latest update) and kontrol S4 mk3 is running… but it looks like cue mode is not working, I can't manage to have any preview. I think it's a software problem because my headphones work and I can hear the track playing when the "mix" button is open. The headphone configuration buttons (crossfader) are not active in traktor pro 3.

Are the headphones connected to the s4?
Can you share a screenshot of the "audio setup" and "output routing" tab in the settings?

I don't know why, but it's set to [EXTERNAL] but it should be set to [INTERNAL]
Give that a try, see if it helps. If not, send new screenshots of output routing.
