This post is now out of pure frustration, and quite frankly, hate and disgust, at the way Native instruments is headed.
Native Access is unable to update my software in one go.
- open Native Access - it says there are 3 updates, but clicking on them does not work, update failed.
- Close native access - on reopening NA there are still 4 Conhost processes opened from the previous time, this causes another 4 Conhost prosessss to be open (8 in-total), this causes native Access to lose all login info, and just, ****** the bed. Blank.
- Now I either need to restart, or terminate all processes to do with Native instruments.
- Quicker to restart??
Why is this happening, every time. Why? is it because you have that much DRM built in to your software, that we the consumer, have to suffer this. It was fine before NA2. Why have you done this?
So, what's next, for me, I think I would be quicker to just Pirate what I already own. I would not have all these issues. Do you see where this is leading??
I do not condone Pirating software, but this just proves, that there is indeed a case for it. When companies feel the need to inject so many DRM features into their download agent, that it maks it near impossible to do a simple task as update their vst's when needed.
By the time I have done, restarting and messing about with native access, I have lost any motivation to make music!!
I am sorry for this post, if it offends, it is supposed to!!
