Odd browsing behaviour Kontrol X1 MK2

I have this really annoying bug that sometimes happens when browsing the tracks / libraries using the encoders and Traktor Pro. As soon as I try to scroll a little quicker then the selection just flies all over the place and shoots to the top of any given list. This is crazy! Any ideas how to fix it?

    What I means to say is that turning the encoder just a tiny bit after this behaviour results in the selection jumping all over the place and not selecting things properly.

    Here we go - basically I turn the encoder to select a track up and down SLOWLY one increment at a time. If I then try to turn it beyond that then the selection just jumps right to the bottom or top of my list without me doing anything

    Anyhow

    AFAIK the jumping to top is on purpose.

    Here's the video you can see if I just rotate the encoder 1 step sometimes it moves all the way up or down

    Have you tried overriding the touch function of the browse encoder? I heard this was the source of some trouble (many years back, i have no details).

    Either overmap the touch assignment with a null-function, or use a chroma cap like your loop encoders to try this out.

    All encoders are in fact Chroma Caps including the black one!

    So, what happens when you overmap?

    I just tested it on mk2 and mk3 and can't reproduce it. But I'm sure I read some NI dev saying this is expected behavior to jump to the top or bottom of the list.

    I did - any help on this? Basically if I rapidly turn the encoders to scroll up or down my list, when I NEXT turn the encoder just ONE step it refuses to move ONE STEP and just flies up or down the list. I have then wait until it sort of 'settles' and then revert to either manually clicking on my list and THEN using 1 step increments on the encoder which is just a nightmare. So basically as I'm trying to move quickly up and down my list as soon as I take my hands off or move the encoder one increment it flies up and down bypassing any possible selection

    Mmm yes saw It which version of Traktor are you using at the moment?
