Sonoma OS compatibility with S88 MK1 and KK 2.9.6
I would like to upgrade my Mac to the Sonoma OS - does anyone have any feedback as to whether the MK1 devices (and therefore KK 2.9.6) function with that software or does it bring on the death of the NKS and Lightguide functionality leaving only MIDI controller functionality?

Hi Jeremy, it's Ventura…
A user over at VI-Control has a fully functioning Mk1 with Sonoma on a Mac.
I have yet to update mine however.
Kind regards

There's a comment by @Kymeia that 2.9.6 works with Sonoma, but I'm not sure if that includes the MK1 keyboard. Officially Sonoma supports the MK2/MK3 and KK 3.20. You could snapshot your machine with Time Machine then see if it still works after upgrading then roll back if there's a problem, although obviously that does have risks. For reference, Kymeia's comment is at the end of this thread -

I don’t have a Mk1 keyboard but I think as long as Komplete Kontrol works so should the keyboard

1 month on, is there anybody who's able to say if an S88 Mk1 is able to run fully functionally using KK 2.9.6 on Mac OS Sonoma or do I just have to fire up the update, cross my fingers and hope I'm not left with just a MIDI controller and no Light Guide?

Sorry that no other user could confirm or infirm. There are no major differences in Sonoma regarding our mk1/mk2 keyboards. What's your current OS?
