The Driven by Moss extension for Reaper supports the MkIII too

Also I am controlling Waveform using MCU mode which also works with the MkIII

With all due respect to OP, I have to call "fake drama". Oh, I have a good reason. Here are 6 good reasons:
- Cubase Elements: $99.99 USD. That's about 15% of the price of $649.
- Cubase Artist: $329 USD. About 50% the cost of the MK3.
- FL Studio: Entry level Frootee is only $99.99
- Studio One Artist: $99.99
- Bitwig Studio: $99.99, Producer is $199.00
- So OP…are you saying that none of these are affordable?
If a hundred bucks is beyond your budget, maybe you need to figure out an added income stream for you and your family. And always always always, you should research the system requirements before buying any new hardware or software.

If I understand things correctly the MK3 marks the adoption of a new standard of integration with DAWs based on a new established industry model which is far more powerful than older integration models, but also far more complex in the implementation. This requires DAWs operate by those same interface models in order to benefit from the more advanced features.
That's as much the reason why the list of viable DAWS are limited as much as anything else. Established DAWs have the development teams, installed base and revenue to justify the investment in joining that club. Most budget DAWs don't. That's not something NI has any control over because that's in the hands of the DAWS.

Please find a final statement from Rich (Native Instruments) below after requesting official NI developer documentation of the S88 communication protocols to develop full DAW integration:
Thanks for your email. I heard back from the devs - this has already been done by Jürgen Moßgraber. He’s a well known community member who does a lot of unofficial 3rd party work. I just released DrivenByMoss v23 which supports now the Mk3 devices for both Bitwig as well as Reaper! And best of all, it does also work on Linux! DrivenByMoss for Bitwig: https://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Bitwig/Bitwig.html DrivenByMoss for Reaper: https://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Reaper/Reaper.html Introduction video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTdJi3WnPzY I checked with the developers and product owner and was told that we do not publish the MIDI DAW Protocol, so there is nothing further I can do to assist you with this. Sorry about that but there's nothing more I can offer from a support perspective. Best regards,
Rich @ NIAs you can see, we tried to get the required documentation for full DAW integration as good as we can, but there was no discussion possible. With this answer, it is not possible to develop and actively maintain full DAW integration, except if the brand is Pro Tools or Ableton.

It's actually not even the DAW but rather the S49 MK3 itself! This thing will NOT under any circumstances on a Windows machine connect with the midi controller whether it is in Stand Alone Komplete Kontrol mode or in a DAW using Kontakt7. I've been on the bloody phone with Sweetwater support for days, exchange controllers 4 damn times and NI support is practically non-existant even with their Vendor (Sweetwater Engineers) doing the talking! FYI I have BOTH a KORG TR-88 & a Arturia PolyBrute connected to this same computer system and they both work perfectly! So this is ALL NI and they're not offering any valid corrections as to why their own midi controller is not even being seen by Komplete Kontrol so that the specific controller is highlighted in the Dropdown list and ALL the various configurations of this controller are in the list and the entire bloody list is greyed out with the controller plugged into several different motherboard mounted USB C ports. WHAT THE HELL! This is supposed to be a PLUG-N-PLAY BOARD!

This board does not work with Windows 11 period! I have gone through FOUR of these S49's and NONE of them can even be seen by Komplete Kontrol in Stand Alone Mode! It cannot be seen in Kontakt7! I have two other Synths connected to this computer system and they both work flawlessly so I can only sermize that this is entirely a flaw with this board! Furthermore, Sweetwater (Your Vendor) has been in contact with your Tech Support and your support has offered nothing but a suggestion to go buy an APPLE Laptop! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This board is advertised as a PLUG -n- PLAY midi controller for PC & Apple but apparently that doesn't apply here somehow?

Work perfectly once the drivers are installed - which you have not touched on at all.
If you are expecting to simply plug the MKIII into a USB port - without installing anything before hand (and following some very specific instructions - aka - the "order" matters here - big time) - it will never work.
When I installed my new DAW (Windows 10 22H2) in Jan 2024 - with my S61 MKII - here was my install order (updated to feature your software versions etc):
- Install Komplete Kontrol Software (v3.2.1 Standalone)
- Install Native Access (v3.11.1) (required for Authorization)
- REBOOT the machine (this will fire up the services for hardware etc)
- Connect USB cable FROM device to USB Root Hub 3.0
- Power on Komplete Kontrol S49 MKIII
- Confirm driver in Device Manager
- Open Komplete Kontrol and review device settings
Worked every time (I did it three times during this build)
Have never used KKv3 as of yet - but thousands have indicated success - so we know it works.
