Playbox Midi Output Problem

In Kontakt 7, I have selected in the options to send MIDI generated from script generated notes. When I do this with Playbox, it works as expected with the exception of it also playing a C2 note that is sustained as long as you press any key. It doesn't matter which key you press, it always outputs the C2 note along with the Playbox MIDI notes being generated by the Playbox arpeggiator.

I tried this in Studio One 6 and also Bitwig, so I don't think it's an issue with the DAW. It also happens if I just play the onscreen Kontakt keyboard, so I'm thinking it might be a bug with Playbox, unless I'm overlooking something simple.

Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it?

@mtamayo Unfortunately I have no visibility on this but the devs came back with a workaround.

Some effects like Arp/Strum/Grain generate additional notes, so if you disable all FX you should have the correct MIDI notes:

It seems to be a bug with the latest updates of Playbox, we were able to reproduce the issue. Filing the bug right now.

Thanks @Jeremy_NI . Just curious how long it will take for an update to come out and fix this bug?

We don't have an ETA for a fix at the moment.

Ah ok. How long does a typical bug fix like this in general normally take? A couple months? A year? I’m trying to decide whether to incorporate this in my workflow if there’s a fix in the near future, or to just abandon this for something else if it will take a long time to fix.
