In their forum the support says that it is predefined in the script provided by Native Instruments. https://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php?t=325328#p1946087

We don't control the FL Studio user interface.

We simply provide access that allows you to mix the tracks (volume, pan, mute, solo) from Kontrol S MK3.

It seems you don't like the red highlight box that FL uses to show you which tracks are focussed - the user interface is something they control, not us.

OP, the red rectangle is your DAW telling you which 8 channels are being controlled by Mk3 at any given moment. If you would use any other MCU-style controller instead (working in groups of 8 channels), the rectangle is still going to be there.

Logic Pro has the same thing but much more subtle. You can also choose to hide it or change its colour. Talk to Fruity people so that they provide more options, it’s on them to do so.

hey guys i have an issue - i cant seem to have my knobs work properly in fl studio mixer, volume etc. when im trying to turn the volume down there is a huge lag, i need to scroll with the encoder really long to turn the parameters down… below are my settings:

when im trying to turn the parameters down there's also info "volume is waiting for pickup" - this does not show up when im trying to turn the volume up.
