If keyboard is new and never been any other way plus you are referring to the way it displays text when not attached and the way that content is shown on keyboard screen when connected to the Komplete Kontrol app on computer then I think that you need to contact N.I. Hardware Support

the keyboard is 6 months old, yes I am referring to how everything is displayed. It is 180° flipped left/right no matter connected to the computer or to Komplete kontrol app. It for some reason did start behaving that way as per today. I thought I have activated an „option“ by mistake, but can not find anything regarding that so it maybe a hardware failure. Will contact support….

In that case then the only 'reset' I know of is the below , but alas then I have no idea how far and how much it will reset. I suspect that it will sort of wipe as much as it can though I am not sure if it is able to return BIOS to factory but would suspect it to reset to factory settings for the present BIOS but I simply do not know.

Power cycle the keyboard 5 times. At the 5th time, the recovery screen should appear and you can re-update the controller. In order to power cycle, turn on the device, wait 2-3 seconds and then turn it off again. Please repeat this 5 times.
