I run two 32" monitors side-by-side. I have a 32" 4K on my right and a 32" FHD (1080p) monitor on my left. I run my DAW and web browser on my 4K monitor. For my plugins like Kontakt that look or function terribly on a 4K monitor (and there are plenty), I just move them over to my 1080p screen, and they look and function fine there. You can buy a 32" 1080p monitor for $150, and I would highly recommend this easy and cheap solution to this very first world problem.

Perhaps from your vantage point this statement has merit. You want innovation beyond what Kontakt is giving you.
As a point of comparison I submit this: I could complain about the old technology that is the grand piano, or I could dig in, woodshed a little, and create something of beauty and emotion that will connect with another human being.
There are more than enough capable libraries (that specifically run in Kontakt) that any creative person could employ to “say something musical”.Retire the thinking that predicates being creative with having the lastest bit of (supposedly) cutting edge software.
My 2 cents.

This kind of illogical ranting is the reason this forum is barely worth spending much time on. And I notice I'm spending less and less as time goes on.

Well on the other hand……..
- It's quite humorous with these varied platitudes wouldn't you say?
- Forums are suppose to be help, but here, it's about attitude, not help (see point 1)
- I use this as an indicator for the end of times. All the signs are here :)
- You can increase your vocabulary on denigration in a light, non confrontational style
- You can learn how to shoo away first time posters because the apps aren't working for them, and they didn't ask nicely for help
Note to self:make complete list

I've been after a coffee button for years!! As it currently stands I have to walk a whole 2 meters to the kitchen and make it myself!!
That's just lazy programming. 🙃

I could do with a small text resize or a simple editor resize. I don't need to resize the whole stinking UI just to see the microscopic things, it makes everything else too large and intrusive.
Although a resize option for older, library UIs would be a good idea too. It would be nice if these were independently resizable of the main window.

yeah….Kontakt could do with developer mode for gui view…make a button bar with all the stuff needed at the ready vs tiny microscopic boxes. Adobe is same way. some stuff almost impossible to see. annoying a.f.

I propose that the shop button be expanded to include takeout orders

I use a 5K widescreen (fancy!) and Kontakt looks fine and works great. It's stable AF. While I agree there are visual elements that need a full scrub and shine, my only real quibbles are that the library browser columns don't dynamically adjust to accommodate instrument names (the dreaded ellipsis haunts my dreams) and having to flip back and forth between the main UI and the library browser. Stick with the sidebar! It worked like a gopher on a golf course in Komplete V2. NI is moving in the right direction, but please please please at least make full instrument names visible on mouse-hover. 😊

It's called Kontakt. That it still isn't allowing communication with alien civilisations is simply inexcusable.

I prefer not to open my DAW if just playing . Kontakt is very stable live. I quite like it warts and all. There is Mainstage now but I have built up racks already throughout the years.
