Anyone else having serious issues with Native Access 3.10.3 update?

Hi,

It seems that the latest Native Access update (3.10.3) is a complete disaster. Previous version worked ok-ish on my system but this one doesn't work at all. I just installed it last night and since that it's been a constant PITA. Sometimes it takes 3-5 times to log in and then it just keeps on "Loading Products" and nothing happens. I've already tried to uninstall it and NTKDaemon (had to force uninstall that one) and reinstall but that didn't help. So it seems I can no longer update my NI software or install new ones. "Nice" job, NI.

You can download and install an older version if you want to , the problem is if it helps (?) issue : NATIVE ACCESS 3.8.0 (in case of a download problem then try log in to Google)

    At Audiorc ,

To reset Native Access more then both it needs it's folder removed and it's XML file removed (in some cases also some more files) . I don't know your OS (since you don't provide) , and I am on Windows and don's have a Mac but the standard reset N.A. XML are these. They don't always work , depending on what the problem is :

The most common resetting of Native Access is this one : resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access

Also there is this one : My Products Are Showing As DEMO in Native Access , especially '2. Your activation fails because of corrupted or missing activation tokens' and '3. You have corrupted XML files'

    What does PITA mean?

And btw, from my experience, NA worked rather well…

It did glitched a little bit, but it wasn't the Millenium Edition situation.

Same. Do you think there's any way to install an older version? Prob not, I assume. Please post back here if you ever find a solution. I have the same problem. Thousands of dollars of software unusable because the little 300mb 'dongle' application has me locked out…and there's no support…

I'm off to look for an older version of Native Access…

    Thanks!

I just reset the XML. file, but didn't want to install the latest Native Access so I downloaded and installed 3.8.0 and everything went smoothly. "Just Loading" lasted about 10 seconds and all my library seems to be ok (just updating the library… and done!).

    Cheers

    (my OS: Windows 10 Pro)

As I launced Native Access second time it automatically updated from 3.8.0 to 3.10.3 and kept on "Loading Products" like it did before. As I launched it third time it found my library. Is there a way to stop these automatic updates since 3.10.3 is clearly unstable on my machine? I couldn't find any on NA's settings.

There is no N.A. setting that I am aware of , but on my Windows I do not normally start N.A. as an Administrator when first installed and working so when it wants to update there pop up the request for allow to do so and I just deny/cancel when I do not want N.A. to update.

    Thank you. 🙏🏽
I'll try this when I've got the time to work through it carefully and methodically. Will come back to let you know if it works or not. No probs with the download of 3.8.0.

    Thank YOU - Poor Fellow.
So, I went to this support (🙄) page you suggested: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402377887121-My-Products-Are-Showing-As-DEMO-in-Native-Access

What SEEMS to have worked for me - well, I have been able to succesfully log in to Native Access for the first time in a week, at least - was item 2.1 - creating the 'ras3' file, which was non-existent in my complete fresh install on this MacBook. In fact, the 'Shared' folder was even missing in the 'Users' folder - so I had to create every folder from there down. How could anything be 'missing', when the computer was erased a week ago and everything installed from scratch?
It's all too much for me - and I'll probably make NI my very last port of call for any patches for live gigs. It's just too fraught. I'd rather compromise a tiny bit on the quality of the library and just stick with Apple and Arturia sample libraries, which oddly never seem to require this level of digging, reading, researching and chasing my tail. They generally just work…

Anyway, thank you for doing what a $billion company doesn't seem capable of doing. NI should PAY people like you, frankly. 🙏🏽

    Update:

Tried the latest NA version (3.11.1) but it's just as bad as its previous version. It keeps on "Loading Products" and nothing happens so I just uninstalled it and the latest NTKDaemon. I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to make sure I got rid of everything NA related. Then I installed NA 3.8.0 that works on my PC. It tries to install the latest version when you log out or exit but Windows will ask if you want to let the application to change anything on your system - just click NO.

Thanks, Poor Fellow for all your advices. Appreciated.

And here's my sincere greetings to person who's in charge of Native Access developing: Quit. Just quit your job.
