2 buttons became 1!
Hi. Recently I switched from S4mk2 to mk3 - and this is pain for me). I dont understand - why there is browse button on each deck? There is question. How mapping - when i push "view" button (for example) on left deck - traktor turn it on "view" button on the right deck at the same time and vice versa) 2 buttons became 1. Thanx.

The VIEW button equals the Browser View feature in Traktor. You have one in each side since there are dedicated Browse+Load encoders in each side of the controller.

Result - I want traktor to think that when I press the view button on the left deck, I press it on the right one at the same time.)

Go into controller manager. Add the assignment for browser full screen mode ('Add In...➔Layout➔Only Browser On') twice, once for each VIEW button. Set it to toggle and check 'override'. Same with LED Output.

With the S3 this is even standard, if you press one view both light up.

Try to explain) I use Traktor Screen Mod hack (Joe Easton) and if i override factory map - function from hack doesnt work. Somebody used this mode?

The qml code of the Screen Hack would have to be changed to connect the left VIEW state and the right VIEW state.

I'll have a close look at the mod and see what needs to be adjusted.

So, i've checked the browser files, a hard read, like any naturally grown plant. As far as i can see, you already have all the tools.
- The View button toggles the screen browser.
- The Add-To-Prep button toggles the Traktor browser and the screen browser on both sides, like you want.
You can switch the functions of those two buttons. Open the file '…\Resources64\qml\Screens\Defines\Settings.qml', line 184:
//set to true to swap the functions of the view and add to prep buttons readonly property bool swapViewButtons: false
Change 'false' to 'true' and you are good to go. :)
