S-88 and Reason, what will work and what wont?

Hi, I have put a deposit on an s-88 that I intend to finance and I'm about to pick it up but I'm horrified to find that it might not work with Reason, my DAW of choice.

Can anyone tell me what will work and what won't? If the led guides won't work, that could be a deal breaker for me as that might be the one thing that most improves my workflow (I'm constantly needing to pop open vst GUIs to check the key switches for articulation).

I also wonder now what this means for polyphonic aftertouch and more.

I also have Ableton but it just can't do the things that Reason can. (and, for me, it crashes a lot)

I need to figure out some of this stuff fast so if anyone has answers, I really appreciate it.

It is also possible to create templates for controlling instruments in Reason Rack though using them like a plugin essentially

Which Reason instruments support poly aftertouch? I can try and see

Tried with Parsec but it seems to only allow for channel aftertouch as a source

I mean with VSTs that support it so mainly Native Instruments stuff i guess.

I read that that feature uses standard midi messages so should work for instruments that support it.

I'll find out soon enough, just gotta unbox my s-88 and install it. Was a hard decision to go through with the purchase but I went for it after all. Maybe the missing support will happen eventually... I do have Ableton and Logic as well but the mad scientist in me prefers Reason.
