Aftertouch behavior of the Kontrol S61 MK3
When I play a virtual synth and a patch that has some modulation, like vibrato, controlled by after touch, my S-61 M3 does not do anything, unless I switch AT to monophonic under the keyboard settings. Is this normal for all keyboards that have polyphonic AT? They won’t work with an instrument that does not have polyphonic AT? Or is this a bug with the S-series MK3 keyboards. I created a discussion last week highlighting this problem with Form, but I’ve since confirmed it is the case with other synths as well (eg Bx Oberhausen).

Actually it's a bit more complicated because it seems some plugins - eg NI Massive X, only respond to one or the other so you have to switch settings in the keyboard (in the case of MassiveX and AAS Chromaphone for example, only channel aftertouch, which is a pity).
However I am finding some that seem to be agnostic' about what type of aftertouch is working and the same patch can be played using both poly and channel aftertouch without any additional setup (eg Arturia Pigments, u-he plugins). Obviously the AT behaviour is different depending on which is selected in the keyboard but the actual sound is still the same. This is preferable so I wish more worked like that out of the box
Also I am finding some that I can't get to respond to poly aftertouch that I know should be able to - eg Rhizomatic Plasmonic - it has a setting for 'Multi channel poly aftertouch' which unfortunately the s60 doesn't seem able to do so I am having to just use channel)
