Q: Now that izotope has been bought by NI, how do I obtain NI serial numbers for my existing izotope products? Izoptope serial numbers do not work in native access so I can not easily add them to my new studio computer..
A: You can find the serials at your izotope account ! The 'integration between the izotope products and the N.I. Native Access is a work in progress ! Ref. 1 , Ref. 2 , Ref. 3 , Quote (Ref. 3) : iZotope product migration is very much in the works. We're working towards making sure iZotope and Native Instruments accounts can both log into Native Access, and after that, iZotope users should be able to make full use of Native Access. That's slated for late May/early June, but there's loads that still needs unpacking. There's other amazing stuff in the works soon, so keep your eyes out for that this year.
Q : Further, will NI be updating the VST of the older isotope software to vst3?
A : That will depend entirely on the product in question (especially on version numbering) and what N.I. determine which will remain to be seen. If you need an official quote then you will have to ask Izotope customer service , but even they might not have an answer to questions about all specific products !
Q : Last question, I have an izotope serial number already for Music Production suite 6 but it won't download in whole or in parts and that serial number is a type that does not work in Native Access... Contacting NI on the support page is broken. Anyone know how I can get my software?
A : You do not state place of purchase where you bought the product (?) , meaning at the N.I: site or at the izotope site, or if it is an N.I. or an izotope serial , but based on the question then I suppose that it is an izotope serial bought at izotope or third party seller of same !
You will have to seek support for the problem and be a whole lot more specific as to the problem. You can try posting a forum thread with enough information in the forum to see if there is anyone that got any useful input or suggestions , or you may contact Izotope customer service directly ! However please notice that because of the work towards integrating the sites then when you log in at the https://www.izotope.com/ site then per default your browser probably will use the default user name and password from the Native Instruments site , so be sure to use your izotope log-in credentials at the izotope site when asked for it ! Also do not auto-update password when asked cause that might load the izotope password into the N.I. password saved. Some users using same email at both sites have updated their password to be the same on both sites to try to compensate for the confusion ! (the support contact ought to work , if it does not then report back and we will ask Jeremy_NI to take a look)
@Willieb I couldn't find any support request from you. If you still need help with your Izotope products please get in touch with my colleagues here: https://bit.ly/Izo_support_purchase_account
Support sent a coupon.... maybe this is getting sorted.
funny story.... entered the serial number in product portal and I get "Well this is awkward..." Error contacting remote server.
Getting some download action now. Time for some deep breathing exercises I guess.
Thanks again to everyone who chimmed in with attempts to help.
Well , despite the sometimes occasionally mishaps then N.I. and N.I. support do care... And I hope that you will have your issue resolved fully as soon as possible !
As for the deep breathing exercises then hopefully you will soon find yourself in a very relaxed iZotope O-zone state , only remember that you should avoid driving or operate dangerous machinery while you are in a very relaxed iZotope induced Ozone state !
Best wishes !
@PoorFellow While I am peacefully reconfiguring templates in Cubase at the moment to replace the older izotope with the newer izotope.. There was a moment of Marshalls turned up to 11 reinventing the nastiest 80's era atonal punk rock noise..... I gave the drum kit a long hard nasty look... but the heads are pretty new.. so......I kicked over a couple of homemade Gobos instead.. (the drums and the gobo survived, and pretty sure the speaker cabinet works still... mostly....) At the end of the day, I was way too pissed off about all this. My anger had the potential to cost more than this software package, that's for sure. So yeah... time to find my Ozone state of mind 4 sure.
