regarding existing izotope products

Q: Now that izotope has been bought by NI, how do I obtain NI serial numbers for my existing izotope products? Izoptope serial numbers do not work in native access so I can not easily add them to my new studio computer..
A: You can find the serials at your izotope account ! The 'integration between the izotope products and the N.I. Native Access is a work in progress ! Ref. 1 , Ref. 2 , Ref. 3 , Quote (Ref. 3) : iZotope product migration is very much in the works. We're working towards making sure iZotope and Native Instruments accounts can both log into Native Access, and after that, iZotope users should be able to make full use of Native Access. That's slated for late May/early June, but there's loads that still needs unpacking. There's other amazing stuff in the works soon, so keep your eyes out for that this year.
Q : Further, will NI be updating the VST of the older isotope software to vst3?
A : That will depend entirely on the product in question (especially on version numbering) and what N.I. determine which will remain to be seen. If you need an official quote then you will have to ask Izotope customer service , but even they might not have an answer to questions about all specific products !
Q : Last question, I have an izotope serial number already for Music Production suite 6 but it won't download in whole or in parts and that serial number is a type that does not work in Native Access... Contacting NI on the support page is broken. Anyone know how I can get my software?
A : You do not state place of purchase where you bought the product (?) , meaning at the N.I: site or at the izotope site, or if it is an N.I. or an izotope serial , but based on the question then I suppose that it is an izotope serial bought at izotope or third party seller of same !
You will have to seek support for the problem and be a whole lot more specific as to the problem. You can try posting a forum thread with enough information in the forum to see if there is anyone that got any useful input or suggestions , or you may contact Izotope customer service directly ! However please notice that because of the work towards integrating the sites then when you log in at the https://www.izotope.com/ site then per default your browser probably will use the default user name and password from the Native Instruments site , so be sure to use your izotope log-in credentials at the izotope site when asked for it ! Also do not auto-update password when asked cause that might load the izotope password into the N.I. password saved. Some users using same email at both sites have updated their password to be the same on both sites to try to compensate for the confusion ! (the support contact ought to work , if it does not then report back and we will ask Jeremy_NI to take a look)

Support sent a coupon.... maybe this is getting sorted.
funny story.... entered the serial number in product portal and I get "Well this is awkward..." Error contacting remote server.
Getting some download action now. Time for some deep breathing exercises I guess.
Thanks again to everyone who chimmed in with attempts to help.

Thank you for the thorough response with handy links even. Impressive. I wound up at this forum to ask the question because, one of the remaining izotope web pages lists the products I own with their serial numbers, other izotope resources suggest contacting NI for product support. So I tried NI support pages. Selecting the link at NI for support results in what appears to be a 'thanks for contacting us' web page that one might see at the end of an interaction with support.. with no way to actually contact support.
Currently my izotope product portal will allow me to download some older versions of RX for example.. RX5 I think, while I own RX9. Unfortunately these earlier versions get blacklisted on Cubase 13 and Nuendo 12 and even the few with VST versions higher than 2.4 which should work I think... cause Cubase to appear to hang when it instantiates. (More accurately selecting task manager shows activity so maybe they just cause a weird doom loop.) And yes I did confirm that it is the izotope plug ins that are causing this behavior by doing the typical troubleshoot of getting rid of preferences and moving the izotope vst to a different temporary folder.
The SN I have for the music production suite is an izotope serial number. I would have bought it directly from izotope or Sweetwater (3rd party) but most likely izotope when it was on sale and as a away to update my existing izotope arsenal in a cost efficient manner meaning what I paid for was an upgrade which may play a part in all of this I suspect. That said, the product listing for Music Production suite at the izotope web site of products I own does not show upgrade, it just shows the product if that makes sense.
Further, I never downloaded or installed that music production suite. I've been in the process of upgrading my studio pc (hardware and software) for quite a bit longer than I had originally hoped for. I was shopping sales to reduce costs. There was no need to install the upgrades/updates on the old system. This has only come to light as a problem since the new system is powered up and having software loaded onto it. And it is certainly a 'problem' if I don't have access to izotope software that I've come to rely on in recent years.
I'm a dummy who hasn't learned from his own past experiences; the old hardware has been sold.... too soon it seems.0 -

@Willieb , if you want me/someone to notice if you write a respond to me/someone then either click the quote below the post or 'tag' me/that someone like I tagged you here ! , you will see the whole name tagging turn blue when done correctly, else otherwise I/the other person may not read your message , e.g. I only read this because I have hundreds of pages open in my browser and one of those this conversation which I checked now ! (tagging people though ought not be done unless needed)
From what you wrote then it's hard for me to determine exactly which version that you upgraded from and from where that you bought your upgrade. But my immediate impression from reading what you wrote is that it appears as if the upgrade that you report having bought maybe never have worked since you judging from what you write didn't download , install or check your purchase ? Anyway , even if the upgrade that you bought is OK then first thing to do is to contact Izotope customer service and clear up the issue of if the upgrade works or not and if it does not then you will have to decide if you think that you can still take your purchase back to the seller , if it were ever possible in the first place !
It could be that the upgrade serial works but just needs the help or advice of customer service to be/get registered , I don't know but registration and account problems and all that is handled exclusively by the customer service department when it comes to N.I. and iZotope now owned by N.I. .
As written earlier then be sure to use your izotope log-in credentials at the izotope site when asked for it when on an iZotope page , even if it looks like N.I. but actually says iZotope ! And don't get your passwords mixed up by auto-updating password at the site else browser might try to store your iZotope password in N.I. password save place !
You do not mention at all if you are capable of contacting Izotope customer service . But as for N.I. support which is NOT who to contact if it is iZotope account serials and purchases since the fusion of the sites are not fully performed as in accounts still not joined , then I will still drop this link to N.I. account support which ought to work, though if you are put though or ends up with a help page depends on what you input as responses ! But at least you have the link if you should have N.I. account problems or need to ask N.I. account support something !
Since your problem appear to me as either a product missing on account issue or a registration of product issue then you should probably choose iZotope account support and also it is not an authorization issue since that would have required that you had a correct product to 'authorize' !
Anyway , contact support , and if you contrary to expectations are still not able to contact customer service using the web-pages then next Monday , the 26th , then the customer care forum person Jeremy is back and then maybe he can help !
I wish you best of luck getting your iZotope software issues fixed !

I just built my new DAW a month ago and have a ton of products in my iZotope account.
Short answer - do not use Native Access whatsoever for anything iZotope.
Use the iZotope Product Portal and install what you need - when you need to.
While iZotope has been acquired by NI - best to keep these two far away from each other when it comes to installing anything. If you have any iZotope serials that are NOT in your iZotope acct - get them in there ASAP and use Product Portal for everything. It works perfectly.

@PoorFellow Like this? I was able to submit a support ticket to izotope but still have not heard back from them. When I submit the music production suite serial number using the "Add a Serial Number" widget in the top right of the izotope product portal web page no products are added to the list of products below and the "Install/Authorize" radio button does not indicate an increased amount of selections.
The serial number I have for Music Production Suite had a similar 'syntax' as all the other izotope products so I'm pretty sure its legit. One difference was the amount of digits in the first set where all the other SN for izotope products had 4 digits, the serial number for this product only had 3 digits. (Excluding the "SN" and the beginning) I did try typing it straight in and afterwards copy n paste.
So here's the latest though. The Music Production Suite 6 has been removed from my list of products AND my purchase history. Good thing I took a screen shot of the original lists before I submitted a support ticket I guess.
@Vocalpoint 'Keep 'em separated' check. One issue I was experiencing was that Cubase 13 would hang during instantiation (start up) while scanning izotope plug ins, even after I made sure to clear out all the old product and vst lower than 2.4. preferences folder.. yada yada. Music production Suite 6 was supposed to have all the latest n greatest of some of my go-to like RX and Ozone.
I really hope they get this worked out, I really am an izotope fan boy... NI too for that matter.

I only have 3 VST2 plugins installed here now at all - and none of them are iZotope.
VST3 is the way forward and VST2 should be avoided - unless like in my case - there is no substitute. OR you have a ton of songs using that format - but that too should be a priority to replace any VST2 instances with VST3 and leave this old stuff behind.
When Steinberg themselves no longer support VST2 - it's time to move on.

Glad to learn that you have taken screenshots to assist you, I also tends to make at least prints of important pages and some times also takes screenshots when important ! (a very good idea indeed) . Also be sure to always save all email and email receipts and if using off-line mail to backup your mail program content once in a while !
As for the serial then if it has the wrong format as in not enough digits then that could be a problem judging from the iZotope page ! However , just to be sure that the problem is not just one of misunderstanding then you could also try to fill in serial at this redeem page to see if that works ! The page is for redeeming third-party products for e.g. Music Production Suite which ought not be what you are sitting with (third-party product) but worth a try. As written earlier then be sure to use your izotope log-in credentials at the izotope site when asked for it when on an iZotope page.
Else , there is really no one else than Izotope customer service that can help you and you simply need to wait for them and give them a chance to respond ! If they do not respond within 7 days then return and call for Jeremy_NI to help !

@PoorFellow Thanks for the link to redeem the serial number I'll try that right after I send this note off to the ether.
I did get a response from izotope support. They said my Music Production Suite seemed to be for the original production suite package. LAME Double LAME since someone has removed it from the list of my products and also the list of purchases.... grrrrrr. Like I posted earlier, the screenshot I have shows in the text that it is in fact Music Production Suite 6 since it contains products and product versions that did not exist when the original production suite came out. And of course.. there's a serial number. I resent the screenshot pointing this out. Not heard back yet.
One of the many reasons I'd consider myself a dedicated izotope customer is that in years past I didn't run into these types of problems and their software was dependable and support was top tier. This whole thing is giving me the Tascam and Avid heebie jeebies where the companies get bought out/sold and then get trashed. It's like a PTSD thing I'm sure. Seems like a bunch of folks went to some high brow business school that teaches screwing over your customers is 'just business' where geezers like me would use some very different terminology for that behavior which is far more colorful than say.... 'shortsighted'.
OK I got a chance to vent... I feel better. I'll go to that link right now. Thanks

@PoorFellow No joy on the web page. I have the latest product portal version already. Selecting the Production Suite Link to redeem results in an error code stating that they don't find an 'activation' for that product associated with my account email. considering I can neither download or activate to ilok..... that's a whole lot like clicking on the support link at NI resulting in the 'thanks for contacting NI support have a nice day' web page..... without entering anything about what one is contacting support about.
OK venting over for today.

Sorry to learn about your continued troubles and your lack of progress of progress with customer service and too bad that the link didn't work (I were unable to test it myself). But at least we got you connected with customer service so let us hope that it will all be cleared up. If it is not cleared up by Monday then call for Jeremy_NI by tagging him as you did me and politely ask if he could please at least clarify what is the problem. Jeremy_NI is also reachable using the PM system in the forum but no need to PM him unless he asks for it.

@PoorFellow Sincerely, thank you very much for trying to help me out. Still holding out hope for a positive resolution. I'll follow your advice if I don't hear anything back by the first of the week. Thanks again.

@Jeremy_NI So Jeremy, I'm not surprised. One of the issues that began this thread/discussion was that attempting to reach NI support resulted in landing on the 'thank you.. have a nice day' web page at NI support... like it sailed right on past any form or page where data entry could take place. That's just FYI.
I will attempt to contact your colleagues.
To close this thread and for the sake of anyone coming across it in a search. I've been using both Izotope and NI for what seems like decades. Their products and support have always been better than what I would consider the norm for the times. This experience strikes me as 180 degrees different. Having the purchase history altered after I submitted a support request is so much worse than what happened with all the previous bad boys in audio hardware and software who screwed their customers. To say I'm 'butt-hurt' over all this doesn't come close, because here's the thing. If they couldn't honor the deal and needed some more money.. I would have paid it because that's how much I like their product. But the Stanford School of Management monopoly style of 'f* #% your customer' favored by Avid, some Yamaha acquisitions and others, well... I'll still be here watching you choke on it like all the ones who pulled this ****** before you. For the record, I would prefer you simply deal with your customers honestly and keep making decent product and services. Seems like a far better method to build a business to me. Soap box stowed, have a nice day.
