My Noire Piano sounds very soft and just not as good as the ones on youtube.

Does the default vst need alot of configurations and how would you set it up.

You're using NOIRE Felt first and Pure afterwards, while the YouTuber uses NOIRE Pure only.

"The pure version delivers a clear, unadulterated grand piano tone. The felt version is completely distinct sample – the same grand piano, but with a felt moderator between hammers and strings, which creates a gentle tone with reduced attack."

The guy from YouTube goes through all the presets that Pure offers. Do any of them sound alike when you play?

Could you please record your audio and send it and the Youtube video here?

I may be able to find the effects that will mimic the tone.

There's 153 presets for Noire Piano, and the presets vary wildly.

If there's a specific video that shows a certain setting and it's not sounding the same on your system, then perhaps you can share the link to the video for others to look into?

What is the video called exactly, and could you please record your own sample with that instrument so that I may find the accurate effects to make a similar sound to the audio from the Noire Piano video?

    Isn't it obvious?

You play just with Kontakt, while the other guy has an entire professional studio behind him! Check his description.

The minimum things you should add to be closely to his sound (from what i hear at least) is a Reverb for sure, maybe a Chorus too and probably some EQ and a slight touch of a compressor. And of course a good sound card and even better speakers.

Also, for at least things to sound louder in your Kontakt, go to "Options" --> "Engine" and set the first option to 0dB instead of -6.
