    I´m on Windows 11, Cubase 13 Pro, Komplete Audio 6.

    Doesn´t seem so. I´m up to date, but the problem remains.

    To fix the Komplete Kontrol “Autofocus” problem in Cubase, proceed as follows:

    Open the VSTI Komplete Kontrol plug-in window, right-click at the top of this window and select “Remote Control Editor”. Then in this window, click on the small arrow at the top right to select “Use the default configuration” and “Apply” on the button next to it. At this time, “Autofocus” works. Then save the project.

    The cause of this problem is when the Komplete Kontrol reference named “NIKBxx” is no longer assigned to the first “Knob” on page 1 in the “Remote Control Editor”.

    Does that fix it for you?

    Hi @Jeremy_NI, I am on Windows 10, Cubase 13 pro, Kontak 7 all upto date. I don't use KK, I didn't even installed it

    @catonudo Well, that fixed the autofocus not working for other users. You said +1 to that:

    Same issue, Cubase13pro. When I create a Kontakt instance all connects (no mater which track is selected). After I select another track the connection is lost.

    To reconnect I have to open Kontakt and from File menu to tick/select KONTROL S88 MK3. Than on selecting another track the connection is lost again.

    So you tried and it didn't work?

    I just tested on Kontakt 7 the method you posted and IT WORKED!

    @Jeremy_NI hi. Thank you. Well it does seems to work but only for a certian project. (Btw with kontakt not with spectrasonics instruments).

    But is there a general solution - bug fix for it to work properly on all CB13 projects?

    @catonudo I'm a bit confused here. Autofocus and integration with the keyboard will only work with Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol. AFAIK Spectrasonics do not have a NKS implementation. Can you give more details?

    Yes, BIG thanx Jeremy, since it worked perfect for me! I had the exact same problem, Komplete Kontrol lost the lightguide every time I selected another existing KK-track in Cubase 13 in Windows 10, and I was forced to open up KK and first klick on the "Arrow Down-icon" on the top left corner in KK...and select: Controller/Komplete Kontroll S88 MK2,,,and the on the little MIDI-icon on the right upper side - in order to get the correct instruments lightguide loaded in to my KK S88 keyboard. Everetime a selected another channel, I had to repeat this awful procedure.

    With you tip, it just works on it´s own as expected now, so you saved me a lot of frustation, thanx man...and hopes it helps others who have the same problem 😀👍️
