Denon, DN X-1600 and Traktor pro 3 compatibility

Hi, I just upgraded from Traktor pro 2 to Pro 3. Traktor does not recognize my Denon, DN X-1600 in the audio output tree. I am currently using macOS Catalina. I can see my mixer in the set up wizard for Midi mapping as it is a Traktor certified mixer with an internal sound card.

    I own an DN-X1600 too. Stopped working as audio interface with MacOS X Sierra (10.12) back then. No firmware upgrade or drivers from Denon to fix this issue. Very disappointing as this device still was on sale as new stock in this time. Was advertised as class compliant therefore no drivers were needed on Macs up until El Capitan. Worked out of the box to this point.

    I downgraded my MacBook back to El Capitan and kept it that way till I replaced my DN-X1600 with a Xone:96. The Denon mixer is now waiting in a shelf, should consider selling it.

    Thank you. It looks like Denon stopped updating the firmware for the x1600 used with macOS back in 2016. :(

    Totally agree. I actually was just looking at the Xone 96, but my new MacBook is running Sonoma. I could not find any information on the Internet if Allen and Heath was still updating their firmware, or if it was compatible with Sonoma.

    My MacBook Pro works with Sonoma and have no issues with my Xone:96 and Traktor Pro 3.

    Xone even keep their Xone K:2 from 2012 up to date.
