Problems after Maschine+ System Update

Dear all,

updated my Maschine + to System Version 1.5.0.15 two days ago. First, Maschine didn't find the SD card anymore, only after ejecting and reinserting every time. SD card additionally had (viewed on the Mac) filesystem problems suddenly.

After formatting the SD-Card and factory resetting the Maschine, it now cannot even find the preinstalled VSTs. To be clear: state of the Maschine is factory reset and formatted SD Card. When I try choosing any Massive, Monark, Prism, or Reaktor presets, I just get the Message "...could not be loaded".

Did anybody encounter the same? Is there a way to reinstall the system software on the Maschine+? Or can I force a reinstall of the same system software on Maschine?

Grateful for any suggestions!

    It has been revealed to me in a dream that they do this kind of horrible updates (downgrades) to lure some more users to the forums. @OLangner Now you are trapped. It is more a rule than an exeption that they botch the updates.

    Feel free to search the forums to educate yourself on this matter. There is way too little roast.

    Find this an initiation to the ecosystem.

    I'm actually having the same issue. I got from the store and updated it. It can't load any instruments and like I said I just bought it I don't even know how it is suppose to work I can just tell that it isn't but it would appear that the maschine plus and it's SD card aren't working too well together possibly ?? I'm not seeing where the sounds are and user bank is empty. I'm gonna try and redo the whole process maybe I didn't register it properly ?????? The website was kinda glitching last night I just have no idea

    LOL. Can you imagine the botchery that is about to come when they add all these new upgrades supposedly to the current sw? I just don’t see it happening. It’s going to be the clips fiasco all over again, but much worse. Users will go nuclear 😂

    Today, 1/2/24, with M+ update 1.5.1, for the first time ever, i got a "FAILED - An Unexpected Error Occurred" when i did the update.... Does anyone have any suggestions? i really don't want to do a factory reset, is there a simple way for me to just update like normal? 🤷‍♂️😕🌌

    Maybe the NA servers were overloaded with requests. Try today?

    1.5.1 is out already? Neat, will update once I get home! I hope it fixes the "R6 sidechain input selector crashes the unit" that crept in after the 1.5 update

    It’s not mentioned in the release notes, so I wouldn’t expect any change regarding this issue.

    Just found a used plus for $300 bucks but I’m not sure I even want to deal with it at all. Seems like many issues still exist with the unit and support for it still sucks. So many people complaining about the latest update and the same bugs since launch.

    considering the low prices on resell market and discounted retail price…it seems things aren’t exactly running smoothly. But $300 for M+ is so hard to resist.

    Don't make a judgement based purely on forum posts, because if you look here, it appears to be just a mass of complaints - but that's not a true reflection. You're not seeing the whole picture, but just the negative side.

    You mainly see complaints because people only post when they have issues. There's a much larger percentage of people who don't have issues, and therefore don't post here asking for help or complaining.

    It's a fantastic device, and works well. If you can get one for $300 I think you should grab it.
