Why I am not able to play any guitarist (melody) on my Maschine mk3?

Hi there,


so I bought me a Maschine mk3 and I am very happy with it. I am completly new in working with maschine so I am watching a lot of tutorials. But I cant find a solution for my problem that i am only able to play the pattern based versions of any guitarist with maschine. If I load the (melody) version of sunburst in Maschine I get no sound. When I load the same preset but the pattern version I can hear sound. But I dont want to use the pattern, I want to write my own melody.

Can anyone help me please?

    @ManuOsna It should work, I just tested it again, load a Melody instrument, go in keyboard mode on the Mk3 and it works. Any issue with any other library or instrument?

    Thanks for your answer. A few days ago I tested it again and it works. Dont know what was wrong because I tested it the same way when it didn't work.

    are you in piano mode and in the right octave(s)?

    But this is not the solution for me at least. I tried every mode and all octives.
