I installed T Pro 3 today and configured it like T Pro 2. But when I load a song in a deck and the start function it get green highlighted but doesn't start playing

That often happens if no or the wrong audio interface is selected.
Double check that. If in doubt share a screenshot.

This is my config. but it still doesn't start

Yeah, my laptop has the same sound interface, try to connect a headphone to the headphone out on the laptop. Or check if there is another realtek device you can choose in the dropdown?
You don't have any external sound interface or controller?

Lol. I constantly forget about plugging in my headphones to my editing laptop I use for mapping and Playlists. I sometimes even have them on my head already.
I use the Wasapi driver on that laptop, sometimes it defaults to the highest bitrate. I change it 44khz and it starts working again. The Wasapi driver is not very stable. I have to reset it a few times while using that laptop. It doesn't bother me because I don't use that laptop live.
On the main laptop with the s4mk3 I use the Asio with no issues.

Thank you for this advice. I changed it ( see screenshot ). Now it starts, but now I get no sound neither on the headphones nor on the laptop.

You selected the microphone input for your laptop as an audio interface?
You need a device that is output not input.

Do you have a Dj controller? Or are you only using the laptop to dj with?

I have one, but at home Ilike to use the laptop

Does it work with headphones connected?

@Lor3nzo@lord-carlos is correct. Make sure you have the headphones plugged into the laptop.
Then select the Realtek driver. Not the microphone one in your screen shot.
If you hear no sound, check in the bottom right on your laptop near the time clock.
Click the sound icon, if the audio is set to headphones or to laptop speakers, or something else. Select headphones.

Thanks for your . When I selecet Realtec and use the headphones,it works now. 8-)))
But it means I can use Traktor 3 only with headphones. Is this correct?
Anyway thanks a lot.

You should be able to switch back and forth by selecting headphones or laptop speakers in the bottom right audio icon near the time. System tray area. If not this is probably a driver issue. I had issues with this function on my last laptop.
When the laptop speakers are connected the play button should work and Traktor work correctly.
If headphones are selected the headphone plug must be in your laptop for Traktor play and functions to work.

Thank you, for your comment. But on my laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro) I get the sound on the headphone even when I select the laptop speakers and when I remove the headphones Trakor stops playing.

Yeah, the headphone / laptop speaker is NOT a single audio interface with 4 channels. It's some software magic. Traktor can't handle that 2010 technology.
If I don't plug in my headphone Traktor will also consume 25% CPU while doing nothing :)

It is a weird Windows thing. I have the same issues when trying to monitor output from my OBS streaming. And gave up and bought extra Behringer external cards for all my computers.
I have 4 of these. Low-cost awesome cards.
