Is this a kernel problem?

Hello guys,

Only today I've started to encounter a problem with Kontakt 7.6. Once its launched it freezes then restarts my Mac Studio M2 Ultra.

Was wondering if anyone has encountered this? Kontakt 7 is a main go-to plugin that I desperately need to get working again.

Please help?

    Try to drag the kontak to the midi player and integrate it.

    I am not sure if it helps, but I hope it works!

    I have a M2 Studio Ultra too and had this exact same issue with Kontakt when I was on Ventura. It was the main reason I decided to upgrade to Sonoma when it was released.

    I'm on MacOS 14.1.2 now and with the latest versions of NI software I no longer have issues with Kontakt crashing.

    Am not sure I quite understand dragging Kontake into Midi Player?

    Thank you reffahcs but if I do upgrade my OS to Sonoma I’m afraid that my other plugins may no longer work. I also have Izotope and Arturia plugins. But thank you for your response

    I own a lot of the Arturia plugins as well, FX, V Collection, Pigments and haven't had any issues with them on Macos 13 or 14. Arturia instruments have always been very stable in my opinion.
