I have a Native Access Account and I Have a Komplete Kontrol Keyboard.

Attached you will see a jpg file, it is showing how I lost some pictures in komplete kontrol and kontakt.

Like Bowed Colors Violin, Bukhu, Ethereal Earth,Hybrid, Hypha.

Could you please let me know what to do to make them appear again?

I went to Native access and re installed the product but it did not work

I also run Komplete Kontrol Software stand alone to re scan but it did not work

Thanks for your help

Obviously you are very new to Windows too... That's OK. Lets explain this. :-)

First of all, completely close Native Access and any other running NI app.

Then, right-click with your mouse in an empty space in your taskbar (see arrow in the image), and in the menu that will appear, click Task Manager, as you see in the image.

This opens the Task Manager, which is an absolutely essential and extremely useful Windows tool and you should familiarize your self with it. Do not afraid to end any task. Nothing is lost, never, and the worst case scenario is just a forced restart of your computer.

Now Task manager is open. If you just see this....

    ...click on More details.

Now you should see the full program and it will be similar to this:

Finally, just find the program you want to end (in this case NTKDaemon), right-click on it to see the available options and then, click "End Task".

That's all! Now you can go back to your Documents and delete that folder. :-)

    Important Notes:

After deleting that folder, do not open Native Access immediately!

    Restart your computer first!

Why? Native Access is still a badly designed program! NTKDaemon (a part of Native Access) is a Windows service. So, instead of Native Access sees it in the Services and simply just restart it, it ignores any logic and it starts to install dependencies again, which is not just annoying but really stupid!

However, if you just restart your computer, NTKDaemon opens with all other services, so Native Access finds it, and opens instantly. 😉

Those screenshots you made are not from "Documents" folder, neither i see any Native Instruments folder there.

The folder is at: C:\Users\your_name\Documents\Native Instruments\

    Thank you for yor help.

I got it... but I can not still delete the file

I found the file, and I tried to delete but I can not do it.

    I have the next message

The installation cannot be executed because NTKDEAMOND has the file open

I select try again but it's always the same response, so I have to cancel the action of deleting the file.

So I can not delete it .... Sending you the screen

How can I solve this issue?

    Thank you , thank you

    Hi Sunborn,

First of all thank you for your time and patient and I also want to thank you for the great explanation about NTKDaemon. It was very clear and I could learn how this progam works.

I followed all the steps that you mentioned above and I did not have any problem, the thumbnails have already been restored.

I really apprecciate all your help.

    Have a great weekend!
