Audio comes through headphones but not speakers
Hi! I recently just bought Komplete Audio 1 and when I connected it to the pc and downloaded the latest drivers, it only plays audio through headphones and not through speakers. What could be the problem?

@happolappu Sorry to jump in this thread so long after. There's no direct monitoring on the main out of the Komplete Audio 1, you would need a software/DAW to hear your source on the speakers: Using the Direct Monitoring Feature on My Komplete Audio Interface

Assuming you're on Windows, do you have your speakers connected to the output of the KA1 or to the audio out of the PC?

Yes I'm on Windows. I have them connected via RCA to my speakers and the Komplete Audio 1 via USB to my PC. I'm just flabbergasted that they don't play sound through the speakers, when I had my Focusrite, I didn't have that problem, it worked right out of the box and played sound through speakers.

Ok, not sure that the problem might be as I don't have a KA1 to test with. With my S8 and my old S4 you have to route the Windows output to the correct channels on the interface, but I'm not sure if the KA has multiple channels.
Hopefully someone who owns one will dive in and help.

It's probably something in Windows settings , and I can not find any information on how to tweak the N.I. ASIO driver. You could try installing another ASIO like ASIO4ALL and then include the off-line settings in the install and then see if you can tweak yourself out of it that way , I mean you can always uninstall it again. Though it ought to be noticed that I think that sometimes some people have had whatever problem when not using the recommended driver with their audio interface !
Else there is always the VB-Audio "VOICEMEETER BANANA Advanced Mixer" (it's free/Donationware) that should let you route out of any problems.
No matter what then please start by making a Windows Restore point manually so you can revert to that if need be !

@happolappu Is this playing using a DAW and the ASIO drivers, or are you trying to play from Windows (media player/iTunes/YouTube etc)

Plus the nice thing about the proper Native Instruments ASIO drivers is they're multiclient so you can run multiple applications into them which can be really useful
