Moving projects from Super 8 VST3 to Super 8 Reaktor ensemble

I want to save my preset of Super 8 VST3 and import it to Super 8 ensemble.

Is this possible?

    Afraid not, they are not compatible in terms of presets, but of course you can always copy the settings from one to the other manually as synth patchers used to do before we had presets

    What's different only is the format - or: how your presets are stored.

    Presets made in Reaktor are stored as a .nrkt file (Reaktor Preset File). On the other hand, presets made in the Super 8 VST3 version are stored as a .nksf file. Which is why they are not compatible, like Kymeia said.

    You could recreate your VST version presets in Reaktor from scratch. I actually did so with a factory preset that was available in the VST, but missing in the Reaktor version.

    I don't know what you mean by synth patchers.

    So, to understand you correctly, I can only do it using changing everything manually, so there a little differences in sound design?

    I mean with older hardware synths before such things as presets people would ‘transfer’ a patch from one synth to another by copying the settings visually and using photos or patchbooks with pictures/diagrams of patch settings to share their patches with others

    People with hardware modular synths still do this of course (these days also using YouTube etc to share setups)

    Seeing as Super8 is a very simple synth and both versions are identical sonically this should not be that hard
