    Kontakt 6 says Hybrid Keys is in 'demo' mode even after legacy installer was applied. Please help!!!!!

    @Jeremy_NI Would you be able to provide the installer for Modular Icons 1.2.2? That is the latest version that is compatible with the Kontakt 6 plugin, and has features that are not present in 1.0.1. That's going to cause some session recall issues for me since I have sessions saved with Modular Icons 1.2.2 that are not going to be backwards compatible with 1.0.1. Otherwise, I'm going to have permanently broken sessions on some critical projects. Thanks

    @Neo110 I put the installer for 1.2.2.3. It should work now.

    Hi, are you able to put the installer for K6 online as well? I would like to try to revert my setup prior to latest K7 and KK updates.

    I'm trying to reinstall the Cloud Supply Lib, but with the link above i get the error that the instrument remains in Demo status. Does anyone have a different link to another version for Kontakt 6?

    Kontakt 6 is saying Analog Dreams, Lo-fi Glow, Hybrid Keys and Stacks are all Demos after downloading and installing these older versions.

    In Kontakt, 40s Very Own Keys is showing using Kontakt/Files/Instruments

    Dragging 40s icon in the rack, 40s is in Demo mode with no sound

    This issue is actually ridiculous, how was it possible for such a debilitating update to be approved?

    also the downloads aren't the latest Kontakt 6 compatible versions of the Kontakt instruments.

    For Glaze, Analog Dreams etc

    Some of us are being directed here for the wrong reason. I never updated my libraries to any version incompatible with K6 - I always read the release notes carefully. Downloading an older version of these libs and downgrading is not resolving the problem. That was never the problem. The libraries are loading in demo mode with no sound, and not recalling saved project settings even though they are compatible with K6. Something happened recently, probably within the last 12 hours. I didn't install any updates - not to Kontakt, any libraries, NA itself, not my DAW, or my OS. I simply went to have a meal and when I came back, K6 couldn't load these libraries, and my sessions are broken. Is Kontakt calling home and interfering with my purchased products? K6 needs to be kept up to date with any library that NI released while v6 was latest. People do a thing called saving sessions that they need to load later.

    Is there any way to just download the kontakt 6 NKI files for the plugins instead of the whole tens of GBs? This is really inconvenient, and I'm in the middle of multiple deadlines :'(

    Hello NI support.

    I completely removed Kontakt 7 player 7.7.1 - 2023-11-21 as well as the new updated Komplete Kontrol. I rebooted the system.

    I reinstalled the older version of the Play series instruments provided here in the links.

    I ensured I only have Kontakt 6 installed. I also proceeded to re-install Kontakt 6 from NA2. I also rescanned the content files. I checked and double checked and there is no Kontakt 7 player or Komplete Kontrol installed on my system.

    When I attempt to use the Play series instruments in maschine mk3, it keeps trying to load it in Kontkat 7. I can see the Kontakt 7 logo on the screen on Maschine MK3. But there is no sound. I also checked to make sure the option "always use the latest version of the NI plugins in unchecked. There is now no sound from these play series instruments in Maschine software.

    Can you please provide the old installers for Kontakt 6 and Komplete Kontrol, or the old installer of Kontakt 7 player so I can re-install the programs and get the system working again. This was working on my system when I had Kontakt 7 player 7.6.1 installed.

    Please NI, this is common sense !

    I actually can't even download the biggest libraries because my connexion is too slow and for any reason the download stops sytematically after some time... I guess the .nki would be sufficient but maybe there are some changes with samples...
