Guitar Rig 7 Pro Studio One 6 plugin problem

Hi all,

I purchased a Guitar Rig 7 Pro license and I had no problem installing it. The standalone version also does not have any problems despite running it on the not yet supported latest MacOS. However when I use it as a plugin in Studio One 6 there are no presets available and lots of the colors and labels of the components are missing. Furthermore when I try to use a component it shows up but also labels and even knobs are missing. The functionality of the component, e. g. an amp is fine however. My question: Is that a problem with Studio One 6 or MacOS 14 or the combination of both? As state above the standalone version of Rig works without problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Daniel

Sorry, I have to add, that this does not happen all the time but there is no pattern on when it works and when it does not. For example I save a song and reopen it. I doubleclick to see the plugin and the issue is there. When I close the plugin again it may happen afterwards - sometimes after closing and opening it multiple times - that everything is displayed correctly.

What is always is, that there are no presets but maybe those are only available in the standalone version?

Me again, answering myself. :) I just figured out that one of the coloured dots was selected by default. After deselecting it all presets are there.

Just check if now everything is working correctly CONSTANTLY.

If it wasn’t you selecting the filters (dot colours) the problem could reside in the plugin not reloading its state correctly.

If it was you…we’ll you found the problem!☺️

Ok, I have some news, I guess, and it wasn't me. Yeah! :)

The issue happens any second time the plugin is opened. Meaning plugin ok, I close it, opening again and plugin is faulty, I close and open again -> plugin ok, I close and open again -> plugin faulty. Tried it about 20 times. Interestingly this persists over restart of Studio One, so if plugin is ok and I close Studio One, the plugin is faulty at next start and vice versa. At least I now know a not so difficult workaround reducing the issue to just a tiny, small annoyance. :)

    Good investigation.

I hope this is due to the new OS not being yet officially supported and that it will disappear once it will

We have released the Guitar Rig 7.0.2 update yesterday which brings macOS Sonoma compatibility. You can install the update via Native Access. It should fix this problem.
