Good day.

I have an S2 Mk3 with a broken headphone jack. Only getting right channel when fully pushed in and it feels loose in the input jack. I'm guessing the cable was bumped in place and damaged it.

I'm currently travelling and can't mail it back for repairs. Has anyone had the unit apart? Is it possible to repair? Maybe just bending a spring contact back into place? Thought I'd ask before taking it apart.

Thanks,

Andrew

Before you pull it apart I hope you determine that it's not the phones themselves and that the L/R main outputs are sending audio. Mini pin are so tight that the idea of it coming loose seems less likely. It could be dirty or a circuit board connection deteriorated or broke.

Definitely check a different headphone jack I had some Sennheiser headphones that had a warped adapter. Other headphones worked fine.

did you ever figure this out?
I was at a gig just the other night and same, one side cut out of headphones.
I realized the headphone jack is loose on the board side.

I fear I’ll need to take that upset to look at it 😵‍💫
