KK with iPad

Hi all - does Komplete Kontrol work with iPad? I've seen it used with a Microsoft Surface Pro.

    Ipad used as a midi device with various limitations within the komplete kontrol VST (PC/MACos) enviroment will work.

    however

    running the komplete kontrol in any sort of standalone or plugin of a ipad DAW .. NO that wont work!!
