Komplete Kontrol Transport buttons in Cubase?

I just recently noticed this:

When in Cubase, opened an instance of Arturia pigments (E.g.)

pressing play or record on Keyboard will move macros connected to CC16 and CC17

so every time i try to record using the play and stop, it changes the sound of the selected instrument.

Not sure if this is a Cubase problem, Native instruments issue, or Arturia issue?

There should be no CC info coming from my play and stop transport buttons? should there?

I have tried this in Reaper, Ableton, and Pigments stand alone. transport buttons do not generate CC information. So its coming from with in cubase somewhere?

Not usually but in your MIDI preferences of Cubase, if you have the DAW port selected for MIDI input this can happen since these do xmit signals for Mackie control too.

Ah thank you for the reply.

i have both DAW and - 1 as inputs. As I thought you needed the Daw one for the transport and jog wheel on native instruments. Should I de-select the DAW.

I will give this a try.

as a work around. I just removed all the CC maps within Artiura plugin.
