M32 - wont control filters, etc

Hi friends,

I just bought a Komplete Kontrol M32. Keys and transport works fine and assigns correctly when using Komplete Kontrol and various NI instruments, but I CANNOT get the knobs to assign to their partners in various software.

Can someone please help provide some insight to this?

You're probably not in MIDI mode. Press Shift + MIDI on the keyboard to enter MIDI mode.

Can you pls explain a bit more, what exactly you want to assign in what software. As @chk071 already pointed out, you maybe have to go into midi mode.
