Any updates for M1 native support?
I want to make a constructive criticism, I have recently updated all the studio macs (mac pro 6.1) to the new mac studio m1max and ultra. We have reinstalled all the Ni material and we see how there are some bugs that you need to fix in the future, I will list them; MASSIVE X (arm), very Slow and Chunky GUI and not very agile when loading the synth every time, 3) Super 8, the same thing happens. 4) Kontact 7; the main window makes "clicks with red bands when changing instruments" In general these products load very Buggy and slow ( GUI ETC ETC) on high-end computers with many cores and 128 gb unified ram (we do not have third-party presets). Is there any updates on your roadmap for this in the future? Thank you.

Hey @Marcel Thanks for the feedback. Please try the newest Kontakt 7.1.3 update, there should be some improvements. Battery, FM8 and Reaktor are not yet compatible with M1 in ARM mode, only in Rosetta. Super 8 as a standalone synth is discontinued but is still available as a Reaktor ensemble. Have you tested these synths & plug-ins in Rosetta mode already ? You can follow the M1 compatibility topic here: Apple Silicon (M1 / M2) Compatibility News

where can I find the Reaktor ensemble version?
here it says the standalone is the "new/latest" version and now its discontinued?
while the Reaktor beta is running well with Apple M2 processor Super 8 is missing as ensemble there.

@ebber Yes Super 8 as a standalone synth is now discontinued. It was available as a Reaktor synth in previous Komplete bundles, so you might already have it. Can you check in Native Access ? As an example, here I have both:
Let me know if you don't have the 1.0.0 version showing, that would be the Reaktor ensemble, and if you don't have it I'll add the serial for the Super 8 Reaktor instrument to your account.

only shows v 2.1.0, even when "Legacy Products" checked

Alright, I added the serial on your account (it's a NFR licence, not for resale). It should be available in Native Access now.

thx for the fast help. works :)

That reminds me — now that Reaktor will be M1 native soon, have you figured out the license transfer process yet? I’m not really in a hurry, but still eager to have a working Super 8 back.

@nanotable You simply need to contact our support or I can directly add a serial for the Super 8 Reaktor ensemble on your account, just let me know.

@Jeremy_NI If you could add a serial for the Super 8 Reaktor ensemble to my Komplete license, that’d be fantastic 🙏

Surely this should just be automatic, that if a person has the VST3 license they also get the Reaktor one? It was when it was the other way round

@nanotable Done!

Fantastic, thanks a lot, @Jeremy_NI

I, too, am a Super 8 user and was looking forward to a standalone Silicon-compatible app. I guess now the only hope is to run V1 of it through Reaktor 6 which will soon be Silicon-ready? I'm currently part of the Reaktor Beta group. @Jeremy_NI do I need the V1 license added to my account as well?
Best!
