WHY CAN'T I FIND Kontakt VST2 in Studio One Mac Ventura M1?!

I have read all the previous posts on this issue (it's so stupid kontakt doesn't allow you to install the plugins you need) ... I have reinstalled 10 times and studio one never finds the VST2 of Kontakt. Is there anyway to achieve this? The entire reason I bought this software was to use with UVI drum replacement and they only see VST2 plugins, not VST3.

So okay I get it, studio one defaults to VST3 and ignores VST2 for some dumb reason, so I deleted the VST3 versions of kontakt but it will won't show the VST2 version.

Why is this soooo hard to achieve ugh.

I just tried disabling both AU and VST3 in studio one settings. Reinstalled kontakt, and it STILL WILL NOT FIND VST2?

Is there a download link I can just install VST2? Why is this so complicated lol.

sooo apparently kontakt 7 is VST3 only and the UVI plugin is VST2 only. weeeee

VST2 maintenance was discontinued 9 years ago. VST3 is the future. Also, (most) DAWs will always prefer VST3 over VST2 if both versions are installed.

If by UVI you mean this thing, the specs do say it supports VST3?

Either way, this would be on UVI to fix.

Also, since you're running Ventura, keep in mind that Kontakt isn't officially supported on that OS yet:
